Clay as a material has an intrinsic unknown and this is what drew me in as a young artist. The humbling effect of material and fire creates a constant flow of ideas which has kept me working and wondering at the potential of clay. Issues of environments, isolation, and viewer interaction are some important influences informing my work. Though I work in varying media it is clay that challenges me everyday.
